The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering the Carlisle area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer who enjoys being out on the road, visiting different sites and having variety in their working day.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites.

• Responding to reactive maintenance requests and electrical breakdowns.

• Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out repairs.

• Maintaining electrical systems, equipment and associated plant.

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

• Travelling between various sites across the Carlisle area.

• Completing maintenance records and relevant compliance documentation.

• Building strong working relationships with clients and site teams.

• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed to a high standard.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer or Maintenance Electrician.

• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Happy travelling between different sites throughout the working day.

• A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing professionally.
