We are looking for a CNC Machinist to work on a permanent basis in the Oldham area. The role is working Monday to Friday working 6am till 2.30pm and 2.30pm till 11pm. Salary is c£33-34,200 per annnum plus 25% shift pay, company bonus, 25 days'' holiday and bank holidays, pension etc Duties for the CNC Machinist: Your new role will involve the operation of manual and CNC grinding machines. Grinding experience would be preferred but full training will be given. Key Responsibilities Able to set and operate grinding machines Use and understand technical drawings Able to use measuring equipment to ensure component compliance, Perform basic TPM on all equipment including cleaning and lubrication. Mentor and instruct roll grinding apprentices when required. Committed to continuous improvement and able to suggest improvements regarding methods, processes, and tooling. FLT and Overhead crane licence would be advantageous but training can be provided.
