Our client, a well-established and growing business within the dental sector, is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the smooth running of a busy company. You will play a key role in ensuring financial processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include but are not limited to: Managing sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately processed and reconciled. Posting and allocating customer payments, responding to account queries, and issuing customer statements. Conducting credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments and monitoring debtor accounts. Processing supplier invoices and payments, including foreign currency transactions. Reconciling bank accounts, expenses, company charge cards, and financial ledgers. Preparing VAT returns and supporting monthly and year-end reporting processes. Producing regular financial and KPI reports for the management team. Acting as the main day-to-day point of contact for external accountants and finance-related queries.
