QUANTITY SURVEYOR / SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – MILTON KEYNES

Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor job in Milton Keynes – salary up to £80,000, flexible working and the opportunity to join an established main contractor.

An established and growing contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. Job Description

• Managing the commercial performance of construction projects from initial procurement through to final account.

• Administering JCT contracts, including valuations, variations, payment applications and contractual matters.

• Preparing and managing CVRs, cost forecasts, budgets and regular financial reports.

• Leading subcontractor procurement, commercial negotiations, payments and account management.

• Working closely with project managers, clients and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially successfully.

Skills / Qualifications

• Essential: Previous Quantity Surveying experience working for a main contractor.

• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and their commercial administration.

• Proven experience managing project costs, subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify financial risks, manage budgets and protect project margins.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to manage commercial relationships and take ownership of projects.

Offering salaries of £60,000–£70,000 for a Quantity Surveyor and £70,000–£80,000 for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
