About Chain of Hope Chain of Hope is an international children''s medical charity providing life-saving cardiac care to children in developing countries. Through a combination of overseas missions, training and patient transfers, we work to ensure that children with heart disease have access to treatment regardless of where they are born. Senior Finance Officer Chain of Hope''s Senior Finance Officer will support the Director of Finance and Operational Systems in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, including contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and budget monitoring. The postholder will take full ownership of the charity''s purchase ledger function and purchase order management ensuring robust financial controls and strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities: Key Lead on the purchase ledger function, including processing, reconciling, and maintaining supplier accounts. Oversee and support the Finance Assistant in preparing weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring compliance with organisational procedures and payment deadlines. Administer the purchase order workflow and Finance inbox, actively chasing outstanding invoices and resolving queries with requesters to maintain smooth processing. Raising purchase orders when necessary Supporting month-end activities, maintaining accurate records and clear audit trails.
