This full-time role involves teaching within Hive 3, supporting pupils who are working at approximately Year 1 to Year 2 levels and who have a range of communication and interaction needs.About the RoleYou will be working with pupils with varied and complex needs, including:Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Pre-verbal or non-verbal communicationIntensive interaction approachesPECS and other visual communication systemsThe successful candidate will play an integral role in creating a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment where children can develop both academically and socially. For a strong candidate, this position may lead to a permanent post.Essential RequirementsApplicants must have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationProven experience in a special educational needs environment, ideally within a communication and interaction-focused settingStrong understanding of SEND strategies and differentiated learningExperience supporting pupils with ASD and communication needsConfidence using PECS, intensive interaction, and similar approachesA patient, consistent, and positive approach to teachingDesirable ExperienceAlthough not essential, it would be adv
