Customer Quality Assurance Engineer 12 monthsPitstone, HertfordshireRate: 40-45 per hour inside IR35The Customer Quality Assurance Engineer is a specialised role created to function as a link between the businesses program and manufacturing functions and the customer, making sure engineering design and production standards meet safety, regulatory (EASA, CAA) and customer requirements focusing on risk mitigation and process compliance.The Engineer is responsible for handling customer non-conformances and acting as a primary quality liaison between the business and customer supporting design assurance oversight in line with Part 21J and production oversight in line with Part 21G airworthiness requirements.You will champion contacts with the customer, production, engineering, configuration and support functions focusing on defect prevention, root cause analysis and continuous improvement using APQP tools as PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.Principal accountabilities Customer, EASA, CAA, ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements and audits supported with NCR closeout oversight and follow on sessions implemented.
