Job Title: Part-Time Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Chadderton
Pay: -12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Chadderton on a part-time, temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied role combining hands-on warehouse work with some administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assembling electrical products
• Labelling and preparing boxes for dispatch
• Building and maintaining stock levels for future orders
• Conducting regular stock takes
• Booking in deliveries and allocating stock correctly
• Using a pump truck to move goods safely
• Handling general warehouse queries and answering phone calls

Administrative Duties:

• Inputting orders and data into the Sage system
• Generating shipping labels
• Emailing invoices to customers
• Responding to customer and internal queries

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Basic computer skills (experience with Sage is an advantage)
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage time effectively across varied tasks
• Comfortable with both physical work and office-based duties
• Strong communication skills

Our client is offering a flexible working pattern across 3-5 days and the opportunity to secure a permanent position (dependant on reliability / performance & workload).
