As part of their ongoing investment in property standards, they''re looking to appoint an experienced Multi-Skilled Voids Operative to join their in-house maintenance team, focusing on the turnaround of empty properties to a lettable standard. This is a great opportunity for a tradesperson with strong all-round ability, but particularly strong carpentry and plumbing skills, to join a supportive team environment with consistent, varied work and genuine job security. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Voids Operative, you''ll be responsible for carrying out a range of repair and refurbishment works to empty properties, ensuring they''re brought up to a safe, lettable standard within agreed timescales. Carry out first and second fix carpentry, including doors, skirting, kitchen units, flooring and general joinery repairs. Complete plumbing works including tap and toilet replacements, basic pipework repairs, and general bathroom/kitchen fittings. Undertake general void property repairs and refurbishment works to a high standard, working to void turnaround targets.
