With a passion for positive outcomes with autistic adults, members of the Advisory Board play a key role in the governance and leadership of BeyondAutism’s Post-19 services. They are expected to act as ‘critical friends’ to the Post-19 Senior Leadership Team by providing constructive advice and support.The Board Member role requires approximately 10 days per year, including one day each half term and a minimum of three meetings annually, along with preparation time. The term of office is four years.The Advisory Board collaborates with the CEO and Post-19 Heads to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and high-quality provision.Ideally, candidates will have one or more of the following:Experience in adult services at a senior level, with an understanding of safeguardingLived experience as an autistic person or a family memberSkills in analyzing and interpreting dataExperience in accountability for actions and responsibilitiesWe welcome applications from diverse backgrounds.
