This is an excellent opportunity for a previous Welding Supervisor or Fabrication Foreman to take on a hands-on leadership role, driving production performance, quality and continuous improvement. The business specialises in high-quality welded assemblies for the aerospace and defence sectors, delivering projects ranging from prototypes and batch production to full-scale manufacturing and installation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate and develop fabricators and welders to achieve production targets.Allocate labour, manage workflow and ensure customer deadlines are met.Interpret engineering drawings and maintain high standards of fabrication and welding quality.Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Logistics to resolve production issues.Promote health and safety, conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.Support performance reviews, attendance monitoring and team development.Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S and continuous improvement initiatives.Support compliance with EN 15085, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.Assist the Operations Manager with capacity planning and ..... full job details .....
