Workshop Plant FitterSalary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)Location: Essex - Workshop BasedHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to join an established and growing company specialising in the maintenance, servicing and repair of construction plant and machinery.This is a predominantly workshop-based position within a modern, fully equipped facility, offering the opportunity to work on a varied range of heavy plant, construction equipment and machinery.We would be keen to hear from experienced Plant Fitters, Plant Mechanics, Workshop Engineers and Plant Engineers with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills. Key ResponsibilitiesService, maintain and repair a wide range of construction plant, heavy machinery and equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), routine servicing and reactive repairs.Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and resolve technical issues.Strip, repair and rebuild mechanical and hydraulic components.Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI), equipment safety checks and PAT testing where required.Identify additional maintenance requirements and carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and repair documentation.Ensure all equipment is repaired safely and efficiently to a high standard.Work closely with ..... full job details .....
