Responsibilities for the AI Engineer: Design and deliver AI-powered proof-of-concept solutions, MVPs and prototype demonstrations within short innovation cyclesLead technical delivery during workshops, discovery sessions and innovation sprintsBuild and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions using large and small language models plus vision and image-based modelsDevelop lightweight APIs within serverless or PaaS environments to support rapid integration and demonstrationsWork across varied business contexts, quickly understanding requirements and adapting AI approaches accordinglyEvaluate emerging AI tools frameworks methodologies plus create reusable components to accelerate future deliveryEngage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, present findings and explain technical outcomes
