Working closely with tier-one contractors and framework partners, they deliver robust, buildable electrical designs across treatment works, pumping stations, and network assets.Due to continued growth, they are seeking a mid-to-senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.The Role You will be involved in the full DandB design lifecycle, producing practical, construction-ready electrical designs and supporting projects through delivery. Key responsibilities include: Electrical design from outline design through to detailed design and construction issue Development of buildable LV electrical designs including power distribution, MCCs, switchgear, control panels, standby generation, and earthing/bonding Preparation of electrical calculations such as load schedules, cable sizing, fault levels, and protection coordination Production and coordination of electrical drawings including single line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and cable schedules Close coordination with mechanical, civil, ICA, and construction teams to resolve buildability, sequencing, and installation challenges Technical review of supplier and subcontractor design information Support during construction, commissioning, and handover p
