Lecturer (Building Control) Full time, permanent Remote place of work Salary £46,000 to £49,000 pa plus benefits We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic academic to join us in supporting the development and delivery of modules within the Building Control subject discipline of built environment education. You will be a key member of the academic community, acting as the subject area expert and providing a high-quality learning experience for our students. You will engage with employers, industry forums, and Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs), ensuring the Building Control programme is up to date with industry requirements and skills needs. This is a brilliant opportunity to help make a real difference in the built environment sector, ensuring successful and effective outcomes for our students. Your accountabilities and responsibilities include: Be the subject area expert and advocate for Building Control within the Academic team and the wider University Work with the Apprenticeships team to ensure the Building Control degree apprenticeship students are supported appropriately, according to their contexts Lead the teaching and development of specialist Building Control modules at the University, alongside related subject areas such as Fire Safety.
