We are currently recruiting for an experienced Environmental Advisor to join a well-established and highly respected engineering and construction contractor delivering major energy infrastructure projects across Scotland. Our client is a leading contractor within the energy sector, specialising in the design, construction and commissioning of large-scale transmission and distribution projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Advisor to play an important role in supporting environmental compliance, sustainability and best practice across major construction and infrastructure projects. Working closely with site teams, project management and environmental specialists, you will provide advice and guidance to ensure works are delivered safely, responsibly and in accordance with environmental legislation. Key Responsibilities Promote environmental best practice and sustainability across construction projects. Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, company policies and procedures. Identify environmental risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Support environmental incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. Monitor environmental performance, maintain records and prepare reports.
