MIG Welder

Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client’s team in the Stoke-on-Trent area for a temporary position. The role offers the opportunity to work with a well-established company, with the potential for the contract to extend beyond the initial duration.

Key Responsibilities of this MIG Welder role:

• Performing MIG welding on a variety of components.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings to carry out fabrication tasks.
• Ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining health and safety standards.
• Collaborating with the team to complete welding and fabrication tasks efficiently.

Essential Requirements for this MIG Welder role:

• Proven experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a fabrication environment.

Details of this MIG Welder role:

• Hourly rate: £14ph
• Hours of work – Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 & Friday 8:00-15:30
• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
• Temp work: Initially 1 week, could be extended
