Job Title: Children''s Social Worker - Separated Migrant Children Location: Stevenage and Apsley, Hertfordshire County Council Position: Full-time, Permanent Salary Range: 37,035 to 40,476 per annum + 5,673 to 5,242 market enhanced payment + 1,000 one-off welcome payment Hours: 37 hours per weekAbout the Service: Hertfordshire County Council is dedicated to providing exceptional support to vulnerable children, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking and refugee children. Our Separated Migrant Children (SMC) team offers specialised care, focusing on housing, education, and health support for young people transitioning into adulthood.We ensure that unaccompanied migrant children receive the care they deserve, with access to education, health services, and cultural support.
