Class 1 HGV Driver

Pay:15.0019.00 per hour
Job Type:-Temp ongoing, opportunity to go perm for the right candidate-
Start Times:-6:00 onwards start for day shit, 18:00 onwards start for night shifts-
Working 6 days a week, Mon-Sat or Mon-Fri&Sun

The Role

We are currently looking for reliable and experienced-Class 1 HGV Drivers-to join our clients team.

This is a great opportunity for a professional driver looking for regular work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 HGV safely and responsibly
• Completing local and/or regional deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Completing delivery paperwork and required documentation
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Following all relevant road, transport and company regulations

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are offering a new starter bonus of -200 which is paid after 20 shifts. We also offer referral bonuses of -150-per person you refer (also payable after 20 shifts worked).
