MIG Welder (Aluminium) – Solar Panel Frame Fabrication

Location: Scotswood Road, Newcastle
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Contract Length: Minimum 2 months, Temp to Perm 

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to work on the fabrication and welding of aluminium solar panel frames. This is a workshop-based role on a busy site on Scotswood Road, Newcastle.

You will be responsible for:

• MIG welding aluminium components

• Fabricating solar panel frames to specification

• Working from technical drawings

• Ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining production standards

• Adhering to site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding aluminium

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Strong fabrication skills

• Good attention to detail

• Reliable and able to commit to a minimum 2-month contract
