We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver (LGV Category C) to work for us on behalf of our leading Leicester-based client.

This is a full-time and-permanent position, collecting palletised goods for our customer. The role offers consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team.

The successful candidate will be safety-focused, customer-oriented, and capable of managing a varied daily workload while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out pallet collections in a safe and efficient manner, then deliver to centralised hub.
• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with all legal and company requirements.
• Complete daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects promptly.
• Use a tail lift to load and load pallets
• Complete electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation accurately.
• Use company-approved smartphone applications for POD completion, vehicle checks, and transport-related tasks.

Essential Requirements

• Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and-Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential.
• Experience operating vehicles fitted with tail lifts.
• Ability and willingness to use an electric pallet truck when required.
• Good knowledge of road transport regulations and driver compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Own smartphone required for electronic POD completion, vehicle checks, and transport applications.
