Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to support an expanding company in Belfast Your new company Hays Accountancy and Finance are working to support a Belfast based company to support their dynamic team throughout a period of growth and expansion, which makes it a really exciting time to join the team.Your new role This role will offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working closely with the senior members of the Finance Team. You will be responsible for the following:•Credit control and credit card reconciliation•Assisting with month-end processes including SAGE 200 / Excell•Sales invoicing and accounts receivable•Preparing journals i.e. intercompany etc•Bank reconcile and daily bank balances•Data extraction and analysis including debtor reports and sales variance•Monitoring finance emails•Answering telephone queries for example financeWhat you''ll need to succeed You will be an Assistant Account, preferably with industry relevant experience and have the following:•Experience in producing reports, analysis and forecasting data•Have an in depth knowledge of SAGE 200•Comfortably extract and analyse data from Excel (Advanced Excel desirable)•The ability to analyse and present data clearly and concisely•The ability to work under your own initiative•You will be highly organised, motivated to check tasks to a high standard and have the ability to meet deadlines.What you''ll get in return •Based in East Belfast•Free on si
