With the order book filling up for the next 4 years, we are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team at our Cambridge headquarters.

Whether you are an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years' experience or a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the group, where your contribution will make a real impact.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in groundworks or civil engineering, although this isn't essential. What matters most is your commercial expertise, drive, and desire to grow alongside the business.

The Opportunity

As part of our Commercial and Procurement Team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful financial delivery of projects across the East of England and surrounding regions.

You will work closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are commercially managed from inception through to final account.

As our Quantity Surveyor you will:

• Provide commercial support across groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Manage both lump sum and re-measure contracts.
• Prepare interim valuations, final accounts and monthly forecasts.
• Identify, price and manage variations.
• Monitor project costs and forecast cost to completion.
• Support risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and third parties on all commercial matters.
• Negotiate agreements, valuations and final accounts.
• Ensure procurement activities remain within project budgets and commercial objectives.
• Help improve commercial performance and profitability across projects.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships.

It would be great if you had:

• Experience within civil engineering and/or groundworks projects.
• RICS qualified or currently working towards accreditation.
• Experience managing contracts, valuations and final accounts within a contractor environment.
