As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be a key source of support for pupils who require emotional guidance and behavioural consistency to succeed in school. Many of the children you''ll work with may face challenges such as:Emotional regulation and anxietyBehavioural and attachment-related needsLow confidence and self-beliefDifficulties with social interaction and communicationTrauma-informed needsYou''ll support pupils both one-to-one and in small groups, helping them feel safe, understood, and ready to engage with learning.
