Facilities Assistant

We''re looking for a reliable and organised Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day running of an office at Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne.

This is a hands-on role where you''ll help keep the office running smoothly, deal with facilities requests and make sure colleagues have a safe and comfortable working environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage facilities requests for the office, operational areas and car park.
• Log requests on the CAFM system and ensure they''re dealt with within agreed timescales.
• Help with ordering stationery and catering supplies.
• Report faults with office equipment and machinery.
• Handle incoming and outgoing post.
• Support the Facilities Officer and Facilities Manager with general facilities tasks as needed.
• Provide a helpful and professional service to colleagues, contractors and other stakeholders.

Location: Building 800, Kent Science Park, Guillat Avenue, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8GU

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

This is a short-term, 4-week temporary position, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.

• You''re comfortable dealing with facilities requests and general office duties.
• You can work well with colleagues at all levels and liaise with external contractors when needed.
