Guildmore s Facades and Cladding Unit is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Technical to lead and oversee all technical aspects of façade and cladding systems across the business. This pivotal role will shape the strategic direction of technical solutions, ensure successful project delivery, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. As Guildmore currently does not have an internal design team, the successful candidate will establish structured technical processes, manage external design partners, and drive innovation to enhance in-house technical capabilities. The role also carries responsibility for quality assurance, compliance with regulations and industry standards, and embedding best practices across all projects. Key Responsibilities Review and comment on consultant appointment scopes, identifying and reporting scope gaps at the earliest stage. Review and advise on contractor programmes, ensuring workflows are realistic, efficient, and achievable. Produce and manage the Design Responsibility Matrix, clearly defining consultant deliverables. Collate, monitor, and report on consultants Information Release Schedules, producing a consolidated Master Schedule. Schedule, chair, and minute fortnightly Design Team Meetings and design-specific workshops. Follow up on all design-related actions, ensuring timely resolution and delivery.
