Job Role As a Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering installation projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Sales and Service Managers, sales consultants, and clients to ensure systems are installed, commissioned, and handed over to the highest standards, on time and within budget. This role requires technical expertise in security and fire systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. Roles and responsibilities: Install, configure, and commission fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control, and CCTV. Work from project drawings, specifications, and risk assessments. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards. Provide technical support and training to clients during project handover. Maintain accurate project documentation and handover packs. Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures Summary of Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an installation or projects engineer with a minimum of 2 years within the fire and security industry. Strong knowledge of fire alarm and security systems (e.g., Honeywell, Pyronix, Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, Kentec, Hyfire etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
