JUNIOR DESIGN ENGINEER We are recruiting for a Junior Design Engineer to work for our client who are in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn from experienced engineers and develop specialist skills within a respected, long-established manufacturer. THE DUTIES OF A DESIGN ENGINEER: Supporting the design of pressure vessels and heat exchangers Producing fabrication drawings using AutoCAD / Autodesk Assisting with design calculations and technical documentation Learning relevant design codes and standards Working closely with senior engineers, production and quality teams Liaising with clients and suppliers as your experience grows Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES and SKILLS: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or similar Commercial awareness of this particular area of engineering Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes Experience with AutoCAD or other CAD packages (advantageous) Good communication skills and willingness to learn THE HOURS: Working on days THE PAY: You will earn an annual salary of 25k-30k Questech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the Mechanical and Engineering industry, our focus is to support many clients within the MandE Sectors.
