The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in the successful delivery of the project from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with cost management and commercial reporting
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor management
• Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Assisting with cost forecasting and budgeting
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contract requirements
• Working closely with site and project teams

Requirements

• Previous experience working for a Main Contractor
• Experience working on residential new build projects
• Good understanding of JCT forms of contract
• Degree qualified or working towards (Quantity Surveying or similar)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious and eager to progress within a growing business
