The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating daily shipment activities to ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time. Working within a fast-paced environment, the role involves liaising with warehouses, freight forwarders, and carriers, preparing export documentation, obtaining transport quotations, and resolving shipping issues efficiently to maintain service levels. Job Description for the Shipping Clerk role: As the Shipping Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating outbound shipments with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched according to schedule. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customers regarding shipment requirements and delivery expectations. As the Shipping Clerk you will obtain transport quotations and select suitable carriers from the company''s approved supplier list. Make transport reservations and arrange collections and deliveries. As the Shipping Clerk you will prepare and verify export and shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, and transport documentation.
