Finance AssistantCentral Hertford£32,000 - £35,000Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (1 hour lunch) Our client are seeking a Finance Assistant to join it''s team in Hertford. This is a varied role offering exposure across finance, payroll, VAT and administration. You will be responsible for: Managing new customer accounts, pro-forma invoices and project invoicing. Handling customer account queries and supporting sales ledger activities. Assisting with quarterly and overseas VAT administration. Maintaining digital finance records and managing petty cash. Processing employee expenses, including credit card and mileage claims. Supporting the implementation of an expenses management system. Assisting with National Statistics returns and general finance administration. Setting up new starters and processing monthly payroll using Sage 50. Managing pension contributions, enrolments and employee queries. Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll and pension records. Candidate requirements: Ideally you will be working towards AAT, although full training is provided Confident using Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft Excel Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Good communication skills and able to manage a varied workload Comfortable working as part of a small, supportive team Benefits: Private health insurance after qualifying period ..... full job details .....
