Salary up to £34,000 per annum.DutiesLead, motivate and support the distribution team to achieve daily targetsEnsure customer orders are accurate, complete and ready for dispatch on timeCarry out quality checks to identify damaged or defective products before loadingCoordinate product movements between sites and prepare overseas shipmentsSupport drivers and customers with collections and loading activities when requiredMonitor stock locations and investigate missing itemsMaintain accurate records and complete all documentation correctlyPromote health and safety standards across the distribution operationInvestigate service issues and help implement improvements to prevent repeat problemsConduct team meetings, appraisals and support employee training and developmentExperienceAt least two years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory positionPrevious experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environmentStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailProven ability to lead, ..... full job details .....
