Electrical Maintenance Engineer (for double day shift) Oxfordshire (Haddenham, Aylesbury) Salary: Competitive + benefits Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the first level escalation of breakdowns within the factory. Working as part of the shift engineering team ensuring breakdowns are fixed promptly in line with priorities. The breakdowns include mechanical, electrical and controls. Maintenance Engineer is also responsible for the completion of preventative works orders. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Direct engineering resource to ensure that preventative maintenance schedules and systems are completed in line with system timeframes, whilst continually reviewing their effectiveness. To ensure that plant changeovers are carried out promptly, with measured efficiency. To ensure that parts are available and are always in good working order. To respond swiftly and effectively to breakdown and emergency situations, making effective use of all resource. Health and Safety To make the workplace a safe environment by ensuring: a. All company and legal requirements are met and maintained. b. Safety equipment is properly maintained, checked, and recorded. c. Safe working practices are always promoted with all checks and job signoffs completed. Quality To ensure all Quality Management Systems are adhered to and properly documented. To work with Production and Quality teams to improve and develop operating practices which enhance product quality and customer service.
