This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has a strong understanding of Key Stage 1 and a genuine passion for supporting children to thrive in their learning and development. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2. A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the needs of young learners. Strong phonics knowledge, with experience of Little Wandle highly desirable. Experience supporting children with SEND and adapting learning to meet individual needs. A good understanding of EHCPs and how to support pupils in working towards their individual targets. The ability to work effectively with the class teacher and wider school team. A calm, nurturing and patient approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.
