Responsibilities and duties of the Generator Commissioning EngineerKey responsibilities:Lead and manage generator installation and commissioning projects onsite.Perform generator pre-commissioning, final commissioning, and fault diagnostics.Install, replace, and upgrade generator control systems, including ATS and switchgear.Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gas generators efficiently.Conduct site surveys and inspections of mechanical and electrical generator equipment.Carry out protection relay and metering testing (G99 compliance).Perform site efficiency testing on gas generator plants.Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Apprentice trained engineer in relevant engineering subjectMinimum 3-5 years'' hands-on experience in generator commissioning and control systems.Strong knowledge of diesel and gas generator operations and associated componentsSkilled in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.Competent in G99 protection relay and secondary injection testing.Full UK driving licence and willingness to
