We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman to join a wastewater treatment scheme in Leeds, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering key infrastructure works within a regulated water environment. Role and Responsibilities: Supervising day-to-day site operations on a wastewater treatment project Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and plant on site Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification Overseeing civil works including drainage, concrete structures, pipework, and ducting Delivering daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions Working closely with the Site Agent and Engineers to ensure smooth project delivery Monitoring productivity and reporting progress to senior management Maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring QA processes are followed Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations Requirements: Proven experience as a General Foreman on wastewater or sewage treatment schemes Strong civil engineering background within the utilities sector Experience managing multiple work fronts and site teams SMSTS or SSSTS qualification Valid CSCS card First Aid at Work (preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Application: This role is available for an immediate start.
