Technical Support Engineer - Automation Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join ASAP on a long term contract. The role will be hybrid working and deemed Inside IR35. Hybrid workingInside IR35Key skills andamp; experience Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issuesIncluding understanding of user permission levels, domain configuration, group policy objects and execution of SUDO Policies in UNIX/Windows.Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP and RESTExperience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, TracerouteSolid understanding of object-oriented programming skills (Java strongly preferred)Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skillsDemonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skillsMust be proficient with analysing log files and standard debugging conceptFamiliarity with tools andamp; practices of the trade such as incident management, knowledgebase, defect andamp; escalation managementExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Code debugging and troubleshootingNetwork and Operating System debugging skills Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
