Production Operatives required to work for a manufacturing company based in Buckingham.

Job Purpose:

• To assist in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of metal components, supporting the production process while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate basic metalworking machinery and hand tools under supervision.
• Assist with cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts according to specifications.
• Perform routine checks on materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment.
• Support senior metal workers and supervisors in production tasks as required.
• Report equipment faults or production issues promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a metalworking or manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.
• Ability to read simple technical drawings and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of metal types and properties.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work safely.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work under supervision.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Desirable:

• Basic welding, grinding, or machining skills.
• Familiarity with workshop safety standards and procedures.

Working Conditions:

• Workshop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and metalworking machinery.
• Full-time role with possible overtime to meet production schedules.

Other:

• Pay - -12.71 - -14.24
• Hours - 8am - 4:30pm
