We are seeking experienced and proactive Business Support Officers to join a pool of professionals providing high-level administrative and operational support across various boroughs in East London and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for mid to senior-level professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and are looking for flexible contract work within local authorities, public services, or related sectors.Roles are available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility and variety. Ideal candidates will be confident, organized, and capable of supporting senior leaders, coordinating projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day business activities.Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to senior managers and teamsOrganise and coordinate internal meetings, minute-taking, and follow-up of action itemsManage calendars, bookings, communications, and documentationDraft high-quality reports, correspondence, and presentationsMaintain office systems and ensure process complianceSupport project teams with tracking, reporting, and stakeholder liaisonIdentify and implement improvements to existing administrative processesIdeal Candidate:
Previous experience in a Business Support, PA/EA, or senior administrative roleHolding Enhanced / Basic DBS checkExcellent time management and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and digital toolsAbility to manage sensitive information confidentiallyExperience working across multiple departments or public sector organisations (desirable)Understanding of local authority or public sector operations (incomplete, assumed to be relevant)
