Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher for SEN School
Location: Newton Abbot rea
Position Type: Full-time or part-term, Temporary
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30m to 4.30pm
Salary: -125.00 to -229.00 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Are you an experienced SEN Teacher with a passion for providing individualised learning to pupils with a diverse range of needs? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN Teacher to work across SEN Schools and alternative provision for short or long-term work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of general subjects in line with either the primary or GCSE curriculum.
- Work across both school sites, catering to the educational needs of pupils aged 7 to 16.
- Create and implement tailored lesson plans to address the specific learning requirements of pupils with MLD, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH / trauma-based needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), either pre or post-16.
- Extensive experience in teaching children and young people with SEN, particularly those with MLD, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH / trauma-based needs.
- A strong understanding of the diverse learning, behavioural, and emotional needs of pupils in this setting.
