The successful applicant will be based at our production facility in Birmingham city centre. The Role As part of a larger strategy to increase our productivity across the business, we are looking to add a skilled and flexible machinist to our team, who''s role will be to support the incumbent CNC team with all aspects of their daily tasks as required. Responsible for setting and operating 1, 2 or 3 Axis CNC milling machines at a time, predominately working with Stainless Steels and nonferrous metals. Setting and operating of CNC machinery on the section Adhering to company manufacturing procedures Conforming to specified engineering and quality standards Using various types of measuring equipment to ensure parts conform to drawing Working as a hands-on machinist on either Fanuc or Mazak VMC''s Providing absence cover where required Carrying out TPM /PPM activities Proving Out Key Skills (non-negotiable) Strong understanding of CNC milling and manufacturing processes Experience as a setter-operator utilising 3 Axis CNC milling machines Strong understanding of CNC milling and manufacturing processes Extensive experiencing in setting and running CNC machines Ability to read ..... full job details .....
