Role: Domestic Abuse Complex Needs Specialist - Safe AccommodationLocation: Greater ManchesterHours: 40 hours per week, worked flexibly across the service rotaSalary: £30,500 Contract: Permanent or Temp to PermStart Date: ImmediateSupporting Futures are recruiting a Domestic Abuse Complex Needs Specialist to join a brand-new dispersed safe accommodation service in Greater Manchester.You will support victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including individuals and families, who may also be experiencing homelessness, substance use, mental or physical ill health and other complex needs.Key responsibilities:Completing DASH, risk and needs assessmentsDeveloping personalised safety and support plansProviding practical and emotional one-to-one supportManaging safeguarding concerns and high-risk casesSupporting clients with housing, benefits and move-on planningWorking closely with MARAC and other partner agenciesWe are looking for candidates with:Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse or vulnerable people with complex needsKnowledge of coercive control, trauma and safeguardingExperience of risk assessment, safety planning and caseworkStrong engagement, advocacy and multi-agency working skillsAn Enhanced DBS check will be required.Supporting Futures - Supporting the people who support others.
