  • Use appropriate behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
  • Support pupils to access learning and remain engaged within the classroom.

  • A calm, resilient and confident approach to behaviour support.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An understanding of the importance of consistency, boundaries and positive reinforcement.
  • A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers and succeed.
  • Experience within education, youth work, residential care, support work or a similar setting would be advantageous.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

Why Work With Us?

  • Competitive daily rate.
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity within a specialist SEMH setting.
  • Ongoing support throughout your placement.
  • Opportunity to develop your experience within SEN and behaviour support.

If you''re passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs and have the resilience, patience and enthusiasm required to help pupils reach their potential, we''d love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV.
