Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to assist with the smooth and efficient operations across their stores by handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Your role will play a key part in ensuring logistics processes meet both customer expectations and business needs. Key Responsibilities Receiving and Inspection Unload incoming deliveries and check goods against purchase orders Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly Record all inbound shipments in line with the companies WMS Sort incoming goods into the correct areas for put-away Storage and Inventory Management Store products safely and efficiently in designated locations Maintain up-to-date stock records within the warehouse management system Carry out regular stock takes and cycle counts Order Picking, Checking and Packing Accurately pick, check, and pack goods based on customer orders Prepare items for dispatch with correct labels and documentation Dispatch and Transport Coordination Support vehicle loading and create necessary shipping paperwork Communicate with couriers and transport partners to ensure timely dispatches Health and Safety Compliance Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (if certified) Follow all health and safety guidelines and help keep the warehouse clean and organised Continuous Improvement Contribute ideas to streamline warehouse processes and enhance efficiency Skills and Qualificatio
