Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Test Technician for a contract position. The role involves working with pressure test and fuel test rigs for various mechanical valves, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.Key Responsibilities:Performing pressure tests and fuel tests on mechanical valvesChecking for leaks, both internal and externalEnsuring torque requirements are metMonitoring pressure flow ratesConducting shimming and adjustments to set cracking pressureAdhering to DESAR working practices and 5S/TPM methodologiesInterpreting technical drawings and following written instructions in accordance with test proceduresUsing the non-conformance database for reporting and analysisJob Requirements:Experience and knowledge of 2391 Test and InspectionUnderstanding of pressure test and fuel test rigsFamiliarity with DESAR working practices and 5S/TPM methodologiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and written instructionsUnderstanding of non-conformance databasesAbility to work shifts, including early and late shiftsWorking Hours:DaysMonday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.15amFriday 7.30 - 11.30 If you are an experienced Test Technician with a background in the aerospace sector and are available for contract work, we would love to hear from you.
