Astute''s Power Team is partnering with a leading Principal Contractor in the Energy sector to recruit a HSE Advisor for its London site.This long-term contract role is on site and offers a competitive day rate, Outside IR35.If you''re an experienced HSE Advisor with experience in Energy from Waste and want to join a new-build plant, submit your CV to apply today.Supporting HSE Manager on site you will:Be a QHandS ambassador and coach, support and train project staff on positive HandS actions, behaviours and compliance.Manage the compliance of the HandS requirements on field.Review the Risk Assessments included in the Method Statements of the subcontractors.Assist the Project and Construction Managers in HandS matters.Manage HandS training needs with the HSE Manager.Controlling site HandS systems and have regular discussions on site about HandS performance with Site Managers and Contract Managers.Conduct regular assessments of construction sites and inform site management of unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.Candidates must hold a NEBOSHCandidates must have experience within a fast-paced environment on an Energy from Waste project or similar heavy industry projects.Must be flexible to work some weekends occasionally.Additional InformationCompetitive Day RateOutside IR35Long-term contractLondon INDPOWAstute People are acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
