About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex projects across a range of sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take responsibility for the successful commercial and contractual management of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.Working closely with operational, commercial and senior management teams, you will play a key role in managing contractual risk, protecting commercial interests and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the contractual and commercial aspects of multiple construction and civil engineering projects.Review, negotiate and administer contracts, including main contracts and subcontract agreements.Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and financial risks.Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, specifications and relevant legislation.Manage variations, compensation events, extensions of time, claims and contractual notices.Monitor project performance, costs, budgets and commercial forecasts.Work collaboratively with project managers, quantity surveyors and site teams to support successful project delivery.Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams and ..... full job details .....
