I am recruiting for my client, an established company specialising in critical power protection equipment, who is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team covering the South of England. Candidates living in or around Watford, Bishop''s Stortford, Bletchley, Buckingham, Bedford, Luton, Slough, Reading, Swindon, Crawley, Camberley, Guildford, Horsham, Maidstone, Cambridge, Bristol or surrounding areas are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will travel directly from home to customer sites, carrying out servicing, planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on specialist power protection equipment. Although much of the current work is in and around London, engineers may be required to travel throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays. Field Service Engineer Responsibilities: Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and repairs on specialist power protection equipment. Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults. Attend customer sites to investigate faults and carry out repairs. Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics. Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out. Work independently with technical support available from the wider engineering team. Participate in the callout rota following completion of training. Field Service Engineer Requirements: Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering as a minimum.
