Adecco are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued educational clients in the Hindley Green area for a School Cleaner to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Start Date: 1st September

Job Type: Temporary on-going

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day (times can be discussed)

Hourly Rate: -12.1ph13.00ph

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and other areas across the school site to a high standard
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing designated areas
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Replenishing toilet rolls, soap, hand towels, and other cleaning supplies as required
• Ensuring all areas are clean, hygienic, and ready for use by staff, pupils, and visitors
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate person
• Following school safeguarding, health and safety, and security procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
• A valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or a willingness to obtain one before starting
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment
