Education Matters Group is recruiting a dedicated Pastoral Tutor to join the Tutorial & Enrichment Team at a thriving Further Education College this end August/September.

The Role

• As a Pastoral Tutor, you''ll play a key role in supporting students throughout their college journey.
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team, you''ll help improve attendance, retention, achievement and progression while promoting student wellbeing and personal development.
• You''ll deliver weekly tutorial sessions, provide guidance and mentoring, and support students as they prepare for their next steps, including Higher Education and UCAS applications.

• Experience supporting young people in an education or pastoral setting.
• Experience working with A Level students and supporting UCAS applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate, mentor and inspire learners from a range of backgrounds.
• A genuine passion for student wellbeing, personal development and student success.
• A degree is desirable, and previous pastoral experience is advantageous.
